Gold & Precious Metals Trading Business + Asset Management In A Regulated Securities Market
My idea is to have a precious metals trading business as well as an asset management business with a HQ in Dubai, Doha, or Abu Dhabi.

My idea involves having office locations across Africa and South America and really anywhere around the world. The idea is pretty simple, we start off using 1-2 contacts I have in Zambia with our first office location being in Lusaka Zambia. We buy these precious metals on the ground there and export that gold to Dubai to be sold. The difference between our buy and sell price is our profit. We use this profit to fund the businesses operations and expand to other countries and locations.
My RIA would be used to manage money for clients across 200+ countries worldwide. We could maintain an office in the USA and an office in our HQ location in the MENA region. This idea I have combines my advisory business with the commodities sector/business. This vision I have is truly international in scope. I have built up my network over the last 2 years from my home town of Lenoir City, TN. I have lawyers, and contacts abroad that can help with our business operations when it comes to transportation, security, and compliance/legal matters. I have 4,000+ connections on LinkedIn many of which are international. I plan to continue to grow this network to 25,000. Growth, that is the story here…I can grow this thing, I just need the capital to do it.
Some selling points on me:
1) I’m an extremely competitive person.
2) I have humility. That might be contrary to some LinkedIn posts you will see but you have to get your name out there some way when you have limited means.
3) I respect everyone in my environment and anyone that decides to do business with me.
4) Client service and satisfaction is my top priority. If the client is not happy there is no repeat business. I do not believe in burning bridges unnecessarily unless the reason is extremely justified.
5) Honest and integrity. That is my brand, I always do the right thing. I think this was ingrained in my from my parents but I also think it was ingrained in my from working in financial services. When people give you money to manage, that is privilege. You have fiduciary duty to do what is right for the client.
Through my time casually exploring the gold trade I came across a company called “Voski DMCC”. They used to have a website, I am not sure what happened to it or if they are still in business but that influenced me to combine my gold trading business idea with a regulated asset management firm so we could have two streams of income. I am natural born entrepreneur, it runs in the family history. I enjoy working for myself and creating something from nothing. What’s more rewarding than the money is the freedom to create and express yourself. Being self employed to me is the highest calling I have for my life.
